Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman for Exchange Student experience report
I have always wanted to study abroad since I was a senior student. This October
I packed my bags, chose my courses and anticipated moving out of my parent’s
house just as I have every year when returning to university. UTAR is a vibrant University which has
established itself as an institution delivering excellence in teaching and research
since its inception in 2002. I am very honored to be an exchange student at
this university.
One of the class is “ Public speaking and oral communication”. This class
is stressful. Every two weeks will have public speaking in
front of whole class.The teacher is also very strict. When students make a mistake during the speaking, teacher will stopped us
immediately. She will directly point the problem and tell us how to improve. If
there are too many mistakes in the speech, we have to try again on next week. Therefore,
we can make the most progress. And this is the most important to me. I won’t
give up until successful.
Travelling is like extending the moment of satisfaction indefinitely.
When I stroll under the walls of Malacca, what I feel is amazing. The
building,atmosphere,history combine become to culture. What I see is not only
on the surface, also including the complicate smell behind. Honestly, I love it
and immersed.
My experience abroad has allowed me to reach previously undiscovered
goals, along with a new level of self-understanding and the specific type of
confidence. I can easily say that applying to study abroad has been among of
the best decisions I have ever made.
To conclude, I really loved my experience in Malaysia,
especially in Kampar. I would definitely recommend to do an exchange in Kampar,
in UTAR! Thank you to my home university and instructor. I learn well and also
enjoy.
