First, the origin

             When I first entered the first grade, the teachers on the department always recommended the students to participate in overseas internships. At the time, my first thought was that I had to spend a lot of money when I went abroad, and I didn’t want to give my parents too much burden. I did not listen carefully when the teachers introduced the information about overseas internship to us, and I have always been ignorant of overseas internships.

             Until the second grade, I found that there are a lot of classmates seem to intend to participate in internships abroad, it makes my heart began to shake. I started to want to go overseas internships for a little bit., but I really do not want to burden the family. I did not fight for the opportunities of overseas internships. One day, the students in the dormitory asked me if I was interested in going to an overseas internship. They still have two places. After I thought about it, I asked her for detailed information and found that there was subsidy. It would not be too burdensome. At this time, I decided that I would go to an overseas internship. I am not going to give up this opportunity. I also called for the consent of my mother. After my mother agreed, I immediately agreed to the classmate who asked me to participate in the team. This is the reason and origin of my participation in this overseas internship.

Second, the introduction of foreign internship institutions

             Kampar has been brilliant because of tin mines. but later due to 1985 when years of international tin prices collapse, resulting in the whole of Malaysia 's tin mining industry fell into decline, and Kampar was not spared, and later in 2007 pulled in the University Tunku Abdul Rahman have only just moved the population has returned and the place has gradually recovered. The professor Wong, Wun Bin, who worked at the University Tunku Abdul Rahman, did not want to see the tin culture disappear. So he co-founded the "ICulture BHD" with the people who are interested in the purpose of mining history. Transforming culture into tourism and creating the Kampar as a slow-moving town.

Third, the experience of foreign internship companies or institutions

             I have experienced a lot of things this month. I also found that it is not a simple matter to revitalize the old streets from scratch. We have to know what attractions are worth visiting in the old street, and to learn about the stories and history of the attractions. It’s even harder to find information when you are in a unfamiliar place. You need to find related information or ask the locals. Not only to find related information, in order to better understand the attractions, we also visit the attractions in person. To see the appearance of the spots in person, we also take photos to prevent future needs.

             During this month, I was most impressed by the Food Festival. This food festival is held in the evening for three days. The food festival is similar to the Taiwan Garden Tour. There are many different vendors who will set up stalls. We are also one of the vendors. We set up stalls to make the company more widely known, and our work is to be a street vendor, some of us care for the front desk , some of us squeeze juice, others attract customers by peddling. From the peddling, I feel a lot of cultural differences. We are working very hard to peddle, hope to have more and more guests to patronize. On the other hand, most local vendors did not peddle. One of our group members is very powerful. She used many advertisements that Taiwan used in the sale. There is a feeling of selling in the Taiwan night market. Even the uncles of the next-door vendors feel that we are amazing. We can always peddle and shout for the whole night.

Fourth, the experience of foreign internships

             Although we are going to internship, I think it is also very important to know the local area. The teachers of the internship unit arranged for us to go to the local market to go to the tour. Malaysia called the market "Pasar" and went to the market that day. We have breakfast at the snack center which near by the pasar, Malaysia's breakfast style is very diverse, with Chinese food, Malay food, and more Indian food, which also reflects their diverse ethnic groups.

             In this month, I found that ordering Malaysian culture is not the same with Taiwan, Malaysia, there are many vendors doing business at the same time and the same place, some places every vendors have a place to sit, like Pasar, you can have a seat in A booth and get food of B booth. You just told B booth where you sit. When the food you ordered done, person of B booth will give you your food. Some places also have many vendors`, but the seats not for any vendor. You can find a seat to sit. And then, you can find the food you want to eat. You just order and tell the clerk table number. They will give you your order when order was done.

             We also went to eat the famous local bread chicken, a large bread with curry chicken. You can tear off the bread and eat with curry. The bread is sweet, the curry is a little bit spiced. It is too delicious to stop.

Sixth, feelings and suggestions

             Before going abroad, I think that I just spend one month, but I found that one month is not enough. When I have to go, I just adapt to life here. I am so glad that I have so a great team. I am so happy that I have met many good people. I am very fortunate to have such an opportunity to come here.

             This time I went to the internship, I went to revive the old street, and it is the renaissance from the beginning. Because we focused on the data search, so the appearance of the old street did not change much. Before leaving, I thought that I will go back Kampar again to see the change of the old street. To see that how beautiful and how lively the old street is. I am looking forward to seeing the way after the revival of the old street.

             When I returned to Taiwan, I wanted to go to Malaysia again. In just one month, I have had feelings for this place. I miss Malaysia very much. After I came back from Malaysia, I had a little bit uncomfortable. Because I am used to walking on the left.

             This trip is very meaningful to me. I will remember it forever. The purpose of going to Malaysia was not for fun, but I still felt that it is fun and amazing.
