ISTS

         This October is my first time to Thailand. And I am so glad that a can be sent as a represent of NUU Taiwan. First of all is that before I attend this activity, I was a nobody and just a normal student in college. I love to join the international affair group world youth volunteer. In my study of my life, my favorite subject is English. So I really want to use my language skill tocommunicate with foreigners. Very thank to school international affair can let me have a chance to be sent abroad.

         When I get to Thailand, we took a lot of time in the airport. Luckily, the school staff there is very kindly waiting for us and willing to have a dinner in their student restaurant. Their school is very big, so we have to walk around the campus and experience the motorcycle in there. It is their local culture.

         And we also walk around the campus, it is very big.

         I like Thailand culture, not only about culture and also there is a lot of places to shop. This time, we attended the ISTS. This activity is talking about the environment protection SDGs. There are 17 goals we have to discuss about the issue.

         In the period in Thai, we have to analysis the issue and discuss and solution about it. And we have to make a team to presentation.

During we are discussing, we also chat about ourselves and make friends.

          After one day’s working, we went to have dinner with teammate new friends, they are so kind to help us to order the meals. And we also experience the Thai oyster omelet. So many Thai food was so good but spicy. I miss it so much.

         This the milk tea from Taiwan, it tastes more sweet than Taiwan milk tea. In Thailand, every thing is sweet and spicy.

The trip day of the activity, we went to a museum. We have so much fun there. And also we can know the history of Thailand. It was a good memory in my mind.

         In the ISTS presentation, all teams need to be compared which team is the best presentation and which team is the best poster.

         Joining this ISTS makes me meet a lot of Japanese and Tai friends. I think communicate is not difficult. Though our mother language are difference, we are doing same project, we can working hard together. The mort important thing is what ever who you talk to, you and he or she is the same people. Just do it.

         That was my best summer that I have ever been. Go abroad not with my family. To meet a lot of foreigners. All the things thank to me. I am proud of myself.
