Motivation

         I will like to study at INHA University for the student exchange project. Because I think what I learned from NUU University is not enough. I want to experience more things which I haven’t experienced. Besides that,  I am interesting in Korean culture and have some basic for Korean. I heard that INHA University is one of the best private universities in Korean. INHA University has many resources we can use. So I am very glad to choose INHA University.

Dormitory

         INHA University arrange four-person room for international student. I lived with 3 French people at last semester. By living with them, I can understand the difference between Asians and Europeans.They are always lying in the bed. They do everything in bed excepteating. Rarely see them sitting in chairs. And they are kind and talkative. Our room are always very happy because of them. Next semester, I lived with 3 Taiwanese. There is no big difference between Taiwan dormitory.

         The equipment in the INHA University dormitory is very good. There is a big bathroom and a living room on every floor. The living room have a small cooking space. There are two refrigerators to store food. And we can cook in a microwave. The living room also has a TV and many chairs.We can eat and watch TV at the living room. The first floor of the dormitory has a convenience store, laundry room and sports room. The B1 of the dormitory is the cafeteria. Available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you don't want to go out, the cafeteria is a good choice.

The Class Content

         The professor of Leadership is a teacher who has taught in many countries in the world. The students in this class also come from all overthe world. This class gives a feeling of multi-cultural integration. Professor often share his experiences and what he sees and hears in various countries with us and integrated in his teaching. Then this class have a presentation every month. The professor will list the representative companies in each field. (Ex. Uber, Amazon, Netflix, Google and Tesla). Let us choose one of them and introduce their leadership style, vision, core values, business model and strategy of the company.

         Cost Management Accounting compare to basic accounting, we can learn how to provide managers the organizational internal data withmanagement accounting principles, like external costs and internal costs.The professor made the difficult accounting principles to interesting and understandable. He is a very kind professor. If we have any questions of Cost Management Accounting, he is very pleased to answer us.

The classroom of Leadership and Cost Management Accounting

         Intermediate Korean and College Korean’s teacher used the Korean text book to teach us. They teach us grammar and words by the books.
Writing and discussion of Korean’s teacher taught us the Korean writing skill and she will give us a topic to discuss. The teacher taught us how to write articles that advocates our own discussion and compare something. There are the articles we haven’t written before. The teacher found some sample articles for us. And we write a new composition to her. After the teacher checked, teacher taught us how to correct the composition one by one. Then we should correct the composition and give it to her. The discussion have many topics, like the purposes of study and what kind of people are we? We discussed with our team member and improve the Korean speaking ability and expression.
         Korean society and culture class teacher make many subjects about South Korea, like Politics, labor market, educational environment, progression system and K-pop culture. Every team chosen one topic to present and the teacher will teach the topic next week. Teacher also found some documentary or movie for us. We can understand Korean society more through the video.

Participate in the event and What I gained

         The beginning of the semester, the school will assign a Buddy to each student who has applied for the project. Buddy will help us. You can ask them any questions. It is recommended that students who apply for INHA University in the future must remember to apply the project. My Buddy is a 26-year-old male college student. I thought that I would have an age gap with him but not as serious as imagined. We have lunch every Thursday. He is very nice and kind. When I was sick, he gave me the health drink that Korean usually drink when they are sick. He treats me like his sister. He also drove me and my friends to go to the beach in Incheon. We saw the beautiful sea and ate delicious sea food. And I learn how to get along with Korean and how to talk to Korean.

         I also participate in a community called Bridge which is a foreigner community. And the main cadre of the community are all Korean. We can ask them any questions. They are very pleased to answer us. They also organized some events at regular intervals. Like going out for a picnic or having some dinner. They took us to some representative Korean attractions. Let us experience some Korean culture. We had a picnic together next to the Hangang and ridded a bicycle along the river. And we also go to watch a baseball game and experienced the baseball culture difference between Korea and Taiwan. Participating in this club can not only travel together but also meet people from different countries. I can talk to them and understand the different cultures of different countries. It is a rare experience.
