一、 參加動機
When I saw the opportunity of overseas
internship on the website, I wanted to try that I could give myself a challenge
and go abroad to see the culture of other countries. I think I should seize the
chance. Try to step out of my own comfort zone, try different living
environments and meeting people from different cultures. I think I can learn a
lot of things in this internship.
二、 住宿
Part of the accommodation was provided by Polytech to
help us find a few family apartments or youth hostels. Finally, I discussed
with my partner the apartment that decided to live in a family style. Based on
safety considerations, there is also very convenient to internship school, so
we chose this one, and it is very close to the supermarket and the station. The contact with the
landlord to discuss the details mainly using E mail by our own, and the
landlord's English is not very fluent, so there are many details that need to
be paid attention to.
三、 上課內容/活動過程摘要
Our courses are mainly divided into Chinese
classes and cultural classes. The Chinese classes are designed for beginners. First,
we will introduce them from Hàn pīn. After that, we will bring some simple words to
students, and then gradually introducing simple sentences and daily
conversations. And cultural lessons will also be combined to introduce. Like some
of the words related to the cultural class of the week. The
cultural class is to introduce our Chinese traditional culture and introduce Taiwan.
Our first class will introduce Taiwan first, about Taiwan's attractions,
transportation, and Taiwan's famous things, such as Taiwan's convenience
stores. I think many students are very interested in it. For
example, when we introduced Chinese chess, the students were very enthusiastic
and thought that they were very different from the chess.
四、 參加活動心得及收穫
When I was told that I was able to go to France for an internship, I was
really happy, but I also felt a lot of tension. Therefore, this sense of responsibility drove me
and my classmates to complete the course schedules we expected to teach and
prepare a lot of teaching aids and teaching materials before going abroad. After arriving in France, everything was very
novel, and I was quickly used to the local life. Only in the first few days, I
was disturbed by the jet lag, and others were very comfortable in life. In the local time, we used our free time to discuss
the teaching materials and prepare the presentation. This is the first time we have used the full
English to presentation for nearly two hours, we are prepared for a long time,
because we are afraid that the report will fail. The difference between French and Taiwanese
students is really big. Students are very good at asking questions, and they
are very interested in Taiwan and Asian culture. Through this internship, I can do more thinking
with more aspects. And be responsible for what we do, because no one in foreign countries will help us. We are also very fortunate that the teachers and
professors we met in POLYTECH are very kind and provide us with a lot of
assistance and advice.
五、 費用(保險費、生活費或特殊支出)
Insurance is to use the school's student
insurance about NT$800. The living expenses I have prepared for 1000 Euros is
quite enough. Others like buy some clothes or souvenirs mainly spend about NT$5-6000
on credit cards.
六、 旅遊及生活感想
We will use the Internet to check before
traveling. First check the
attractions and business hours before .If you want to eat the restaurant, you
must book in advance. Because eat out is
not cheap, we go to the supermarket to buy ingredients and bread to go back to
the rented house, so it is cheap to eat. We
occasionally go to the restaurant to eat. And
the weather in France is very dry, we all have prepared emulsion. The
temperature is also much worse than Taiwan. It is necessary to bring all the
warm clothes.
七、 生活小祕方
Because the public security in France is not very good, I have prepared an anti-theft bag .I will put some important documents and passports and some money in this bag, usually hidden in the innermost layer of clothes, so we can keep the important things will not to be taken away.
This time I
bought this adapter is 20GB with call function. In
fact, 20G is a bit too much. But the call function
is very important. If you want to contact Locals or booked restaurants are very
convenient.
八、 給未來想參加交流計畫通學之建議
In life, there are a lot of things that should
be brought before, and some daily necessities are cheaper to buy in Taiwan. The
credit card must also be prepared, some stores or tickets are more convenient
to pay by credit card. Also pay attentionto local public security issues. It is
recommended that you don't stay outside too late in night. If you go to Lyon's
POLYTECH like us, the two-hour presentation is very important.
Be sure to prepare in advance. The professors are looking forward to our presentation.
