Experience report

         This is my second experience in going abroad and reporting abroad.

         The first time I took a long-distance plane, the time was up to 12 hours. On the plane, I was really tired. I couldn’t lie flat, but the passengers on the plane would be on the feeders from time to time. The plane meal was not bad. After arriving at Los Angeles Airport, the whole mood was very pleasant, because I didn't have to stay in the small space of the plane, I could breathe the outdoor air, but when I got into the US Customs, the full passengers, the team might have four or five hundred people. It took nearly two hours to enter the customs. After entering the customs, I went to the place where I rented a car. I saw the famous landmarks in Los Angeles along the way, and then I took the 7-seat recreational vehicle rented by the teacher to the city where I stayed for the first day. "Los Angeles".

         The next morning we went to the "San Diego Seal Beach". We can see many seals and sea lions lying on the beach and basking in the sun. In the afternoon, we went to the venue to register and report. The staff who assisted in the registration were also very enthusiastic, but the third day was early. When I got up and prepared to attend the opening ceremony and invitation speech at 8:00 in the morning, I found out that the name on the nameplate and registration letter was not my name "Yu Cheng Liu", but another Taiwanese student named "Yu Chen Liu", so I and After the seniors sorted out the good things, they rushed to the registration desk of the venue to talk to the reporters. When I took the letter and said that it was not my name, he seemed to know that I was going to be numb, and immediately took out my letter, and later he followed. We said that we have three Taiwanese students whose names are very similar. Three people have made mistakes in letters, and the third one is called "Yu Hen Liu", which is exactly what we met at the TACT Coating Annual Meeting in Taiwan. It is really a careless one. It was also a very interesting Oolong event. When the invitation was given, everyone went to the lecture hall and listened to the speaker’s report. There were probably six or seven hundred in the venue. People, very grand meetings, gathered students, professors, and scholars from all over the world. After the second day of the meeting, they participated in the "Taiwan Night" of the Taiwanese who came to the ICMCTF meeting. There are many professors. The students have dinner together, and the meeting lasts for five days. There are several thematic agendas going on every day. You can pick the topics you are interested in and listen to them. On the one hand, you can understand how others' experiments design, analyze and discuss the results. It is the typhoon and speech skills to learn the speeches of everyone, and how to make the power point when people report. On the fourth night of the meeting, it is the poster time of this meeting, in a very easy way, with the exchange of drinks. The biscuits provided by the conference went to the posters and reporters that I was interested in. It was a very interesting and relaxing meeting. The last day of the meeting was the day of my report. I got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and got up early. Ready to go to the meeting place, you need to be pre-advanced to report the file to be reported in the venue, you can wait for the meeting after the test is no problem. At the beginning, it was my turn to report on the stage (Figure 8). The title of my report was "Microstructure Evolution and Mechanical Behavior of Sputtering MoN and MoSiN Films". Half of the report, the computer had some problems, and I had to pause the report. It was only after the successful report was completed, and then the audience in the audience raised the question time. Fortunately, I could understand the questions raised by the chairman and answered the questions in a complete and complete report.

         In this experience of attending a meeting in San Diego, USA, you can feel that the service industry in the United States is very enthusiastic. You will say "Have a nice day" very kindly, and the US highway has a total of 14 lines on both sides. There are many roads and cars on the road, and the speed of opening is much faster than that of Taiwan. Finally, I went back to Los Angeles Airport and prepared to leave for Taiwan.
